Day wise Plan:-
Day 01: Morning arrival in Jammu- Srinagar./ Flight Delhi Srinagar.
After morning arrival drive towards Srinagar reaches Srinagar by evening. Overnight at Houseboat/Hotel.
Day 02: Drive To Kargil via Sonamrg. (8 – 9 Hrs)
On the way to Kargil, we have to pass through Sonmarg. After a long drive, we reach Kargil by late evening. Overnight at Hotel.
Zoji La: (3528m) Zojila is on National Highway 1D. Srinagar and Leh in the western section of the Himalayan mountain range. Zoji La is 9 km (5.6 mi) from Sonamarg and provides a vital link in Ladakh and Kashmir. It is the second highest pass after Fotu La on the Srinagar-Leh National Highway.
Drass: (3280m) A few km beyond Drass is the “Drass War Memorial”, built in the memory of fallen soldiers during the “1999 Kargil War”. You must visit for every traveler passing through this route. From here it is a run to Kargil. You will be there with in 1-½ Hours. Kargil is the intended pit stop for the majority of travelers. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 03: Drive from Kargil To Leh via crossing Namkila Pass (12198 ft.) and Fotola Pass (3,510 m) .(6 – 7 Hrs)
After breakfast drive towards Leh with some spectacular view from the pass. Overnight hotel in Leh.
Mulbek: The chief attraction is Mulbek Chamba, a 9m high rock sculpture in deep relief of the Maitreya, the “Future Buddha” which reflects a unique blend of esoteric symbolism, with Buddhist art.
Lamayuru: It was the foremost Bonpo monastery in Ladakh and called g Yung-Drung Monastery (from Tibetan: g Yung-drung-a swastika-a popular symbol in Bon, Buddhism. The oldest surviving building Lamayuru is a temple called Seng-ge-sgang, the southern end of Lamayuru rock, which is the famous builder-monk Rinchen Zangpo. (958-1055 CE). Lamayuru is known by Land o Broken Moon.
DAY 04: LEH TO PANGONG LAKE – (160 KM / 4 – 5 Hrs – ONE WAY)
Full day trip, after morning breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake. In this route visit Thiksey morning pooja, where one can see the monks on their routine through Changla pass. (17,586 ft) world third highest motorable road in the world. 2 hrs of a drive, you reach to Changla pass. Leaving Tangtse for Pangong you pass through few small villages of Changthang. Finally, you can have a sudden view of the Pangong lake situated at 13,930 feet. This famous high altitude Lake of Pangong is 5- 8Kms wide. 140Kms along with 30 % in India and 70% in China. Spending some time at Lake drive back to Leh via the same route. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 05: PANGONG LAKE TO LEH (180 KM / 5-7 Hrs)
Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of the lake. We drive back to Leh en route visiting Hemis monastery. The largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyut Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Drive to Leh and check in at our hotel for Overnight
In the evening you can stroll the market place for some last minute souvenir shopping.
DAY 06: LEH–NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNG LA 18,380 FT. (120 KM / 4 – 5 Hrs)
After breakfast, we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,380 ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. Average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level.
Upon arrival in Nubra we check in our Camp / Hotel in Hunder for Overnight stay. At evening you can walk around the villages to see how the locals live in this part of a world. Overnight Stay at the Camp or Hotel.
DAY 07: NUBRA VALLEY – LEH (120 KM / 4 – 5 Hrs)
After breakfast, we check out from the Camp and drive to Hunder. Where you have an opportunity to ride on a bacterium camel (double humped). Hunder and Diskit you come across sand dunes beside the road. Seen in isolation you could be amongst the sand dunes of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan. On the return stop at Diskit is the headquarter town of Nubra Valley. Diskit is famous for 515 years old Buddhist Monastery, lying magnificently situated on a hilltop, facing the entire Valley.
We drive back to Leh in the late afternoon via Khardungla Top. On arrival at Leh, you will check in to your Hotel. Afternoon you can rest and relax. In the evening you can stroll the market place for some shopping.
Day 08: Leh local sightseeing:-
Morning breakfast leaves for Leh city tour by visiting Hall Fame Museum must visit every Indian, Spituk Monastery (Gompa), Leh Palace & Shanti Stupa. Evening free time at Leisure. Overnight in Leh.
Day 09:-Leh – Sarchu. (8-9 Hrs)
Post breakfast. Drive to Serchu. On the way, there’s one stop at a place called Rumtse. Where you can fine small tented tea stalls and restaurants. Relax for a half hour. Start the journey towards Serchu by crossing Taklang La.
Taklang La (17586ft): Taklang La pass is the second highest motorable pass in the world. On top of the pass, you can visit an Ariel view of Tso-Kar Lake. A perfect point for photography of snow peaks and by crossing the pass and after 2 hours’ drive you will enter Ladakh “The Land of Endless Discovery”. Arrive Serchu by late afternoon. Overnight at Fixed camp.
Day 10:- Serchu- Manali via Rohtang Pass(3,978 meter) .(8-9 Hrs)
It is an altitude 3,978 m high mountain pass the eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas some 51 km (32 mi) Manali. It connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valley and famous destination for Tourist. Overnight hotel.
Taking morning breakfast drive towards Manali. Reach Manali by evening. Overnight hotel.
Day 11:- Manali- Delhi Departure. Overnight journey.
After breakfast, free time for leisure to explore Manali market, post lunch leave for Delhi, by A/C Volvo Coach, a journey of 12 – 14 Hrs. Overnight journey in coach.
